Organized Adultery in Iran

In an Islamic country..isn't this weird?

واعتقلت السلطات في ايار/مايو 104 اشخاص في حفل موسيقي، واعتبرتهم اعضاء في

"مجموعة عبدة الشيطان" واتهمتهم بشرب الخمر و"مص الدماء".

arresting a person for "blood sucking" .. interesting :D

Dynastic Republicanism.. the new model in the Middle East

Check this out..

"But on the ground, when you try to assess what their reforms are or what they are trying to prepare in terms of renewal, you can see that they are not going to change the system because they are benefiting from it."

and that's why it's about the GOD DAMN system and not the PERSON IN CHARGE..

Analysts say external pressure is missing because, as Ms Boubekeur puts it, the US and the EU are "still blinded by their obsessive quest for stability".

Keen to allay fears over immigration and Islamist extremism, and to secure supplies of oil and gas and other business deals, "they prefer to work with people they already know", she says.
and that's where we use the "Restricted Group" card..welly ne3rafo a7san men ely mane3rafoush..

Egypt VS. Algeria..Contd'

Shit...!

Alcohol..!

 That's..interesting :D

"Whilst moderate alcohol intake can lower the risk of having a heart attack, coronary heart disease is just one type of heart disease. Cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle, is associated with high alcohol intake and can lead to a poor quality of life and premature death," said the British Heart Foundation's senior cardiac nurse, Cathy Ross."

I wonder how is "moderate" being measured here??

"Six units within six hours is considered 'binge-drinking' and anyone indulging in regular 'binge-drinking' increases their risk of stroke greatly," said research officer Joanne Murphy."

Six shots..bottles..? isn't it different from a person to the other?

"Public health specialists warned no-one should be encouraged to drink more as a result of this study."

mesh fara7 howwa :D:D

"While there is good evidence that moderate consumption is protective in people who are at substantial risk of heart disease - which excludes most people under the age of 40 - we also know that most people underestimate how much they drink. This paper adds to the existing literature but should not be considered as definitive.
In the UK, the recommendation is no more than two to three units of alcohol a day for women - the equivalent of one standard glass of wine - and three to four units for men."

Good, now we know the dose :D

"Professor Alan Maryon-Davis, president of the UK Faculty of Public Health, agreed that the message from this study was not clear: "At the end of the day, you're juggling different risks and benefits, maybe helping your heart or maybe damaging your brain and liver.

"The simple message is moderation.
"Stick to the guidelines, and you won't go far wrong."

why do i get the feeling that this hasn't added anything to my life..

Egypt VS. Algeria..Contd'

For some reason - though i'm really sick of this shit - i couldn't keep myself from trying to figure out who might have started the violence..i guess because i had a theory in mind that i  was trying to prove..and there goes the answer:  This what happened as soon as the Algerian team has arrived to Cairo
Now - other than i am really glad now that we have lost this game - this was the normal outcome of such stupid media campaign that made Egyptians think that we're going to war and the enemy is Algeria ..Egypt's flag everywhere on TV channels, patriotic songs everywhere on TV and Radio .. i mean WTF ..?! it's like  "FORGET YOUR PROBLEMS..WoOoO" *hypnotizing*..Not to mention that the media (and the Algerian foreign minister as well..) denied that the Algerian football squad was actually attacked when they arrived and that it was all  fabricated..if i can do something now i  would piss on our media for playing the major role in this shit.

Egypt Vs. Algeria..contd'

Now i feel good about our loss..infact..my joy during last week, because of our luck in the last game, made me forget why we don't deserve to win..i guess i was  influenced too by the great media campaign that this would be our biggest achievement..and everything else seemed minor ..thanks to our sincere and aware novelist Alaa AlAswany who made me see the big picture again..

Thanks to the intellectual elites that have the greatest burden of letting every Egyptian aware of the bigger picture..

Egypt Vs. Algeria..contd'

Algerian hacker launches attack on EFA (Egyptian Football Association) Website..

well, I guess there comes the answer for my question in the related topic below..lucky me..i don't have to keep wondering for alot of time..

Farting Contest

In ancient Japan, public contests were held to see who in a town could fart the loudest and longest. Winners were awarded many prizes and received great recognition.Source:http://www.interestingfacts.org/fact/farting-contest

Speed of Light

Broken Speed Of Light
The speed of light was broken by two physicists, Gunter Nimtz and Alfons Stahlhofen, in Germany from the University of Koblenz. This seriously questions Einstein's theory that no object or information can move faster than the speed of light in a vacuum. An example of what could happen with this is time travel, but not like you imagine: If you went for a car trip faster than the speed of light, you'd arrive at your destination before you'd even leave, theoretically, of course. As Dr Guenter Nimtz said: "The effect cannot be used to go back in time, only to reduce the time between cause and effect a little bit."

In fact, several recent experiments, including one done by Chiao earlier this year, have pointed to energy pulses zooming faster than light speed. Yet each of these experiments has been encumbered by severe limitations on measurement or observation of the energy pulses. In contrast, this latest experiment is being touted by some as the most dramatic example yet of light breaking its own speed barrier.
"The effects are much larger and more spectacular" than previous observations, said Chiao.
In Wangs experiment, a pulse of light passed through a small chamber filled with atoms of elemental cesium. A light beam traveling through such a medium has two different velocities a velocity for the individual light waves in the beam and a group velocity for the entire beam. Oddly, some light waves in the beam can actually travel backward for miniscule amounts of time, creating a sort of "tail" behind forward-moving waves. As such, a light wave and its tail can leave the gas cavity at different times, creating the effect that the light beam has left the cavity before its even entered.

Intelligence

Stunning Intelligence Facts
Dr. Howard Gardner of Harvard University proposed that there are several types of intelligence: naturalist, logical, mathematical, musical, interpersonal, spatial or linguistic (many theories include eight or even nine types). The type of intelligence differs in everyone and is largely a natural phenomenon. Naturalists can easily find the difference between natural things like clouds, animals, plants, etc. Whereas mathematically intelligent people are quick at calculations, propositions and hypotheses. Musically intelligent persons are able to discern rhythm, tone or pitch and can identify sounds which a normal human being might easily miss. Those with spatial intelligence have a unique quality of thinking in pictures. On the other hand linguistically intelligent ones use words for imaginative activities. Array

I think i have a good musical, naturalist (i mean i know the difference between animals and clouds and plants ..),linguistic (though i sometimes stutter :D), and interpersonal intelligence..As for mathematical intelligence..i truly SUCK..i don't know..maybe it's a childhood thing..my dad used to yell alot while teaching me math all the time.. and i used to fake that i'm getting it all :D

Egypt Vs. Algeria

http://www.masrawy.com/News/Sports/BBC/2009/November/16/1074050.aspx

Sometime in the future..(if "Arabs" survived)..in some history class:

و من أسباب إندلاع الحرب بين مصر و الجزائر عام 2009 فوز المنتخب المصرى على نظيره الجزائرى فى مباراة التأهل لمونديال كأس العالم عام 2010..

could we be more fucked up in the head? no one knows..
